About this song

ENGLISH

Miki Matsubara's debut, released as a 7-inch single on 5 November 1979. The lyric is by Yoshiko Miura and the music by Tetsuji Hayashi. It is also on her first album, POCKET PARK, released the following January.

Hayashi has described Matsubara's voice as jazzy and sexy. In the chorus the English line "Stay with me" sits directly inside the Japanese lyric and repeats, which is why it also became the song's subtitle.
